Performance appraisal - Announcement on result of consultation exercise13 Mar, 2015
 

Dear Colleagues,

Thank you for your participation in the consultation exercise to
review the current performance appraisal systems which was
conducted by Towers Watson from December 2014 to mid-
January 2015 in the form of clicker sessions and participative
workshops.

Towers Watson will be happy to share with you their findings
and recommendations (summary at

sessions scheduled below. To facilitate logistic arrangements,
please register your attendance at one of the sessions through
the HKU Event Management System:

In the light of the Consultants' recommendation, HR is working
on modifications to the existing performance appraisal system
with a view to making it a more robust system. The changes will
be introduced in phases, so that they can be refined in the light
of operational experience to achieve a suitable system for the
long-term future. The first phase will focus on the Performance
Review and Staff Development (PRSD) for non-academic staff.
Details will be announced shortly.

人力資源部正就有關建議修改網上的評核系統,使現行制度更健全。顧問報告的各項建議將分階段進行,使我們能從實際運作中吸收經驗後,再優化有關系統,使之長遠地成為一套適合我們的制度。我們第一階段的注意力將集中在非學術人員的評核機制 (PRSD)上,詳情將於稍後公報。
