Amendment of Maximum Level of Relevant Income for MPF Contributions with effect from June 1, 201420 May, 2014

The Legislative Council has passed the resolution that the maximum level of relevant income for mandatory contributions under the Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) should be adjusted from the original level of $25,000 per month to $30,000 per month with effect from June 1, 2014. Accordingly, the maximum contributions to be made by the University and appointees under the MPF scheme will be adjusted from $1,250 to $1,500 per month.

The Finance and Enterprises Office will make the necessary adjustments to the payroll of the affected appointees.
