As part of the University’s personal data protection training programmes, you are invited to attend the Mandatory Advanced Training on Personal Data Protection. The Human Resource Section has arranged three sessions as follows:

Target Audience:
1) Personal Data Protection Coordinators (PDPCs)
2) Staff members who handle substantial amount of personal data and/or sensitive personal data and nominated by Deans/Heads to attend the training
Pre-requisite:
1) Have attended the General Training Workshop on personal data protection; or
2) Have read the training materials on personal data in the ITS website

The purpose of the workshops is to provide more advanced information and knowledge to the Personal Data Protection Coordinators (PDPCs) and nominated staff members in the following areas:
1) The University’s system and practices in respect of personal data
2) Roles and responsibilities of the Personal Data Protection Coordinators (PDPCs) and Offices/Work units
3) Security measures
4) Handling of data security incidents
