In addition to these key responsibilities, the Executive Officer will be expected to:

1)    coordinate and manage a broad range of CHM events, such as international conferences, workshops, symposia and lectures (liaising with guests, sending out circulars, preparing programmes and other practical arrangements)

2)    help administratively with CHM’s promotional and fundraising activities

3)    ensure the successful running of CHM courses as part of the Faculty of Arts’ Summer Institute (as well as other occasional courses which CHM will organize from time to time)

4)    assist the Directors with the preparation of reports and CHM proposals, including grant proposals

5)    record the minutes of CHM meetings and corresponding with Executive Committee Members, Advisory Board Members and CHM Fellows, as required

6)    oversee production of CHM’s annual Newsletter and liaising with the publishers in relation to CHM’s book series

7)    maintain CHM’s website
